"Ha," he answers, familiar smug smirk sliding into place as he moves into a defensive position, challenge in every line of him. Yeah, he's got old bones. He's not as fast as he used to be, can't move quite the same, or at least will probably regret pushing himself later, but his competitive nature won't let him back down regardless.
